Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience to join your classes?

No prior experience is necessary for our Beginner's Journey program. We welcome practitioners of all levels and provide appropriate guidance based on your individual needs and abilities.

What should I wear to Tai Chi class?

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for free movement is ideal. Many practitioners prefer cotton t-shirts and loose pants. Flat-soled shoes or socks are appropriate for indoor practice. We also offer traditional Tai Chi clothing in our retail area.

How often should I practice Tai Chi?

For optimal results, we recommend practicing 3-4 times per week. Even 10-15 minutes of daily practice can yield significant benefits. Our flexible class schedule allows you to find a routine that works for your lifestyle.

Can I try a class before committing to a membership?

Yes! We offer drop-in options for all our classes. Additionally, new students can take advantage of our introductory offer: your first class is at a reduced rate of $15 NZD. This gives you the opportunity to experience our teaching style and facility before committing to a membership.

Is Tai Chi suitable for seniors or those with physical limitations?

Absolutely. Tai Chi is gentle and low-impact, making it ideal for practitioners of all ages and physical abilities. Our Therapeutic Tai Chi program is specifically designed for those with physical limitations or health concerns. Our instructors can modify movements to accommodate individual needs.
